South Beach McArthur Causeway

South Beach, also known as SoBe, or "The Beach" is one of the most popular areas not only in Florida but the world! Miami Vice, Moon Over Miami, Scarface, and Bad Boys II are just a few of the movies that have chosen South Beach and Miami Beach as their backdrop. Ocean Drive and Lincoln Road, streets located in Miami Beach, are nationally recognized “spots” for great shopping, dancing and dinning. South Beach is one of the top travel destinations in the United States, and it is considered one of the most affluent commercial and residential areas in Florida.

South Beach (more specifically) is a world-renowned area encompassing from approximately 23rd Street South to South Pointe Park and known by the abbreviation SoBe – South Beach – the area south of the city, which is full of shops, nightclubs, sophisticated restaurants and luxurious hotels ranging from ultra modern convention-type complexes (such as the Lowe’s to Art Deco masterpieces to The Delano on Collins Avenue).

Always at the heart of fashion, music and trends, Miami Beach reinforces the ideas of fun, passion and being carefree. The main street Ocean Drive, where many Hollywood films have been filmed in the past several years- Fast 2 Furious, Reno 911, Transporter 2, Cocaine Cowboys, Scarface, CSI Miami, Nip/Tuck, The Birdcage, Blow, Bad Boys, True Lies , Miami Vice, Fair Game, and Italian film Natale a Miami (Christmas in Miami) – is the centre of SOBE at all hours. Bars, restaurants, niteclubs, music, etc. are all located within close proximity to each other, with such world-renowned nightclubs as Crobar (The Cameo Theatre), Mansion, Mynt, Opium Garden, BED, and Dek23 are just a few of the more popular evening destinations for the nightclub crowd!

One of the South Beach “trademarks” are the numerous oceanfront luxury hotels along Ocean Drive- The Delano, Shoreclub, Ritz Carlton, Lowes, Royal Palm, and Setai hotels, which regularly attract top stars such as P. Diddy, Maddona, Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, George Clooney and Matt Damon. These actors and other top talent are attracted by the gorgeous white-sand beaches, incredible nightlife, and world-class cuisine. Tourists from around the world travel to enjoy the nightlife and dynamic lifestyle of South Beach and it’s unique Art Deco District.

What company made the dance shoes that Jennifer Lopez wore in the movie, “Shall We Dance”?

Published by under Jennifer Lopez

jennifer lopez

I 'm the concerned or satin, peach colored dancing shoes, which led the first couple of scenes in the movie or those blacks has led to scenes later. Both pairs had a tip closed with a single strap the ankle. The party has covered the back of his heel seemed to have a figure a po'smerlata, but I am not 100% secure. If you can say who made shoes and where I could buy a pair, really appreciate it.

Thanks Salsa Sister No 9!

Jeremy Piven: Broadway’s New Boy

Published by under Celebrities

jeremypiven1.jpgJeremy Piven
will take a break from hugging it out on Entourage to head to New York for a stint on Broadway.

Yup, you read that right — the Piv has landed a role in David Mamet‘s Speed-the-Plow, which is set to open on The Great White Way in November. Ari Gold will become a “warring movie producer” in the new production, and though no other big names have been confirmed, sources say that Jessica Alba may take a role alongside Jeremy, after her baby is born.

Would Jeremy be the draw that gets you to the theater?

More Ashlee Simpson Pregnancy Banter

Published by under Celebrities

Ellen DeGeneres pulled no punches when she flat-out asked Ashlee Simpson if she was expecting, during a taping of El’s talk show Wednesday.

“Are you or are you not pregnant?” Ellen asked.

That’s right, El — don’t stand for her crap!

But Ash stuck to her guns, saying, ”Well, that has been going on for quite a while. That is something that I choose personally not to discuss.”

Then she put the capital “A” in annoying when she added, ”Do I look like I had 10 cheeseburgers or something?” addressing the audience and standing up. “Because I don’t think I do.”

Ellen then asked if Ashley planned on keeping the world in suspense as long as Jennifer Lopez did. To which the newly-engaged singer said she wouldn’t. “I swear. I promise you that. I give you my pinky on that.”

Good for Ellen for not dancing around the topic (it’s so not her style — well, dancing is, but you know what I mean) — bad for Ash for stretching this out to the point where the world is about to stop caring.

beauty Jamie-Lynn Sigler and her boyfriend of two years, nightclub owner Scott Sartiano, have ended their relationship.

“They’re both very focused on their careers,” a source told UsMagazine.com. “It wasn’t a bad breakup. They’re still talking.”

It seems that life is just taking these two in different directions, as Jamie is moving to L.A. to try and get some work, while Scott’s (who once dated Ashley Olsen) bread and butter is the New York nightlife

“It just couldn’t work,” the insider said. “It’s what’s best for them right now. They’re both really sad. They were very in love.”

 Womp, womp.
